Michelle is an attorney licensed in the State of Illinois. Michelle's practice focuses on providing comprehensive and creative estate planning services in an understandable manner.

 

Professional Experience

Michelle is a member of the Winnebago County Bar Association, as well as a guest member of the Winnebago County Salvation Army Public Relations and Development Committee.

 

Education

Michelle graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. While at the University of Illinois, Michelle was awarded the Leiby S. Hall Award for academic excellence. After graduating from the University of Illinois, Michelle attended law school at Northern Illinois University. Michelle graduated from the Northern Illinois University College of Law with high honors (Summa Cum Laude) and was awarded the Alexis M.K. Simmons Award for excellence in family law.

 

Personal Profile

Michelle was born and raised on her family's hog farm in Hampshire, Illinois.  She serves on the Board of Directors for the Kane County Farm Bureau and the Board of Directors for the Catholic Order of Foresters Court #729.  Michelle is also a member of the Planned Giving Committee for Crusader Health Foundation and participates annually in the Knights of Columbus Intellectual Disabilities Fund Drive, which raises funds for neighboring organizations dedicated to serving those with intellectual disabilities.  She also volunteers at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Hampshire, as well as at various events at Hampshire High School.
