Alexander H. Agnew

Alex is an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois and the state of Wisconsin. Alex’s practice focuses on providing comprehensive and creative estate planning services in an understandable manner.

 

Professional Experience

Alex serves as a Knight of Columbus and is a member of the Winnebago County Bar Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association and the American Bar Association.  Alex is also a member of the Winnebago County Young Lawyer's Division, a legacy board member of Rockford Promise, and a guest member of the Winnebago County Salvation Army Public Relations and Development Committee.

 

Education

Alex graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. While at the University of Iowa, Alex was awarded membership in Beta Gamma Sigma (National Honorary Business Fraternity), and Sigma Alpha Lambda (National Leadership Honorary Society). After graduating from the University of Iowa, Alex returned to Illinois where he attended law school at Northern Illinois University. While attending law school, Alex interned as a law clerk at Agnew Law Office. Alex graduated from the Northern Illinois University College of Law with high honors (Magna Cum Laude) and was awarded the Hellene & Edward Fioretti Award for excellence in legal ethics.

 

Personal Profile

Alex was born and raised in the Rockford area, where he continues to live today.  He is married to Brittany, a registered nurse turned full-time mom, and has twin boys, Nate and Luke, and two Shih Tzus, Ace and Roxy.
